Kyoto, Mt. Fuji & Tokyo

In January 2020, just before the COVID pandemic changed the world, I travelled around Japan, visiting Kyoto, Mount Fuji and Tokyo. Each destination offered something completely different, from ancient temples and peaceful gardens to one of the world's most iconic volcanoes and the bright lights of Tokyo. I loved comparing Japanese and Chinese culture, and as a geography graduate, seeing Mount Fuji was a real highlight.
