Put a gun to my head and ask me to name my favourite place in the world and I would probably say Hong Kong. To me, it is the perfect blend of British and Chinese culture, something that shines through in the architecture, communities, food, and the organised chaos of big city life.

I have been to Hong Kong countless times and, as of now, it is the only place I continually return to apart from my parents’ home. I strongly believe you should try to see somewhere new before revisiting the same destination, so the fact that I keep returning says everything.

Hong Kong is far more than shopping malls and skyscrapers. Beyond the skyline is an eclectic mix of experiences, from beaches that feel more like Thailand to traditional fishing villages that can transport you back in time.
